GIFT-AN
INTEGRATED BUSINESS SCHOOL
GITAM Institute of Foreign Trade (GIFT) constitutes a part of
GITAM's constant effort to attune academics to the contemporary
needs of the society. The Institute was established in 1997 in
academic collaboration with the Indian Institute of Foreign
Trade (IIFT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of
India. Conceived as an integrated business school, GIFT is
committed to preparing students for careers in the emerging
global economy while providing opportunities for practising
managerial personnel to improve on their competencies in line
with the imperatives of the changing times. The gamut of GIFT's
activities includes training, research and consultancy in the
sphere of business management in general and the domain of
international business in particular. The beneficiaries of
GIFT's broad spectrum of programmes include fresh graduates
aspiring for career in business management, practising managers
seeking to upgrade their skills, business enterprises aiming at
expanding their business frontiers as well as the local
communities in quest of improving the quality of their lives.
