XAT 2005
 

Instructions: Phase I

Step 1:

To apply for XAT - 2005, first do either of the following:

  1. Go to a State Bank of India in your city or nearby your town (117 branches of SBI are listed in XAT Advertisement), make the payment for Rs.700/- and collect the XAT - bulletin and the bank pay-in-slip. The second copy of the bank pay-in-slip is to be retained by the candidate.
    OR

  2. Obtain a demand draft for Rs.700/- in favour of "XAT JAMSHEDPUR" drawn on the State Bank of India, XLRI Branch (Code 4660), payable at Jamshedpur. This test fee is non-refundable.

Step 2:

Go to http://www.xlri.edu/xat and enter your data in the Online Application Form and select the Payment mode and then submit the application. You will get an email containing your XAT ID and XAT password.

Step 3:

After selecting the payment method in personal details portion of the application form, take a print out of the Payment Advice cum Photo (PAP) Form and do one of the following:

  1. Send the PAP Form along with the bank pay-in-slip with the photograph, only in the envelope provided in the XAT bulletin, to XAT Office, XLRI, C.H. Area (E), Jamshedpur-831001. If you are applying for admission to XLRI, you need to pay an additional Application Fee of Rs. 800/- (non-refundable) and register online at http://www.xlri.edu.
    OR

  2. Send the DD along with PAP Form with a recent photo pasted and full signature given on it. Please mention your full name and XAT ID on the back of the DD.

 

Step 4:

 

Use this XAT ID for all future correspondence with the Institute and use the XAT ID and XAT Password to enter the Online Application form to make any modification to the data.

Instructions: Phase II

 Fill in the other parts of the application form at your convenience. When you have finished all the parts of the application, please "SUBMIT" the completed application.
  •  
 Candidates applying to XLRI have to separately apply to XLRI at http://www.xlri.edu and pay a separate fee for the same to XLRI. Please read instructions at that website.
  •  
 Candidates wishing to apply to other Associate Member Institutions may visit their individual website, information about which is available at http://www.xlri.edu/xat. You may get the required information about those institutions and the way to apply to those institutions.


Instructions: Phase III

  •  

XAT office will authenticate the payment details and will send you an email confirming the payment for XAT 2005 only on receipt of the DD or the bank pay-in-slip from SBI.
Instructions: Phase IV

  •  

Admit Card with the XAT ID and the Test Center will be available on the website between December 20, 2004 and January 5, 2005.

  •  

The XAT test will be conducted on January 9, 2005 between 9.00 am and 12.30 pm. You should report to the test center by 9.00 am.
