POST GRADUATE PROGRAMME IN MANAGEMENT – CLASS OF 2005
Admission Guidelines
The ISB looks for
interesting people, from diverse economic, social, ethnic, and
geographic backgrounds, who can add to their classmates’
experiences. Their common denominators are a record of
achievement, demonstrated leadership, and the ability to work as
members of a team. We seek applicants who have superior academic
credentials and who display intellectual curiosity. Excellent
written and verbal communication skills are essential. Multiple
language skills are not required for admission, but add an edge in
today’s increasingly global economy.
The Post Graduate
Programme in Management will begin on April
17, 2004.
Admission Criteria
To be eligible, students
must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and
preferably, a minimum of two years’ full-time work experience.
Candidates must appear for the GMAT. International students from
countries where English is not the primary language of instruction
must take the TOEFL. The Admissions Committee will evaluate all
applications. Short-listed candidates will be interviewed as a
part of the selection process.

The
ISB offers many sources of finances to fund your education. We
have tie-ups with HDFC, Andhra Bank, State Bank of Hyderabad,
State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank to facilitate a loan
offer that covers up to 90% of the programme cost at concessional
rates. In addition Citibank, McKinsey, HSBC, GMR Group,
Anand Group and the ISB offer scholarships
covering up to half-tuition at the ISB.
We also have tie-ups with International Banks to provide

The
Indian School of Business (ISB) Announces Many NEW SCHOLARSHIPS
The
ISB announced that it is offering many new scholarships to the
incoming students of the Post Graduate Programme in Management.

to 50% of the students are being offered a scholarship at the time
of admission
The
scholarships are both, merit and need based
The
scholarships reward exceptional academic achievement, and are
awarded to students based on academic merit, and need.
These
scholarships are in addition to other corporate scholarships
offered by organisations such as Citibank,
Novartis, HSBC, the Anand Group,
and others.
The ISB also announced that it has re-negotiated the terms of
student loans with its partnering financial institutions. Students
in the incoming Class will be offered loans at much lower rates
of interest with easier monthly instalments. More information

The admissions process is now underway for the new Class of 2005,
due to commence on April 17, 2004. Applications may be submitted
