Two-year, Full-time Residential MBA :
This is the flagship programme of the Institute. The aim
of the programme is to mould future managers. These
managers contribute to the business community through
their impeccable service and leadership. The
specialisations offered are Marketing, Finance, Human
Resource and Information Technology.
Number of Seats Available 120 ::
Fifteen percent of seats are reserved for
Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/NRIs/Management
Quota.
Eligibility ::
A three-year bachelor's degree or its equivalent
in any discipline recognised by the Association of
Indian Universities/AICTE as eligible for MBA studies
with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks is required.
Candidates appearing in the final examination of a
Bachelor's degree can also apply.
Application ::
The application procedure for admission consists of two
steps:
- Written Test
Applicants for the full-time programme are required
to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT)
conducted by the IIMs, which will be held on
November 21, 2004. Foreign Nationals/Persons of
Indian Origin/NRIs candidates need not appear in
CAT. However, they can be considered for admission
on the basis of their GMAT Scores (taken not earlier
than July, 2004).

Prospective candidates are required to fill in the
application form of the Institute. To obtain the
application form and prospectus, applicants should
send a request along with a demand draft of Rs.
1000/- favoring Nirma Institute of Management,

Completed application forms must be returned by November
30, 2004. Candidates in the category of Foreign
Nationals /Persons of Indian Origin/NRIs/Management
Quota should enclose a bank draft for US$ 40 or Rs.
2000/- drawn in favour of Nirma Institute of Management
payable at Ahmedabad along with the completed
application form.
Selection Process ::
Candidates short-listed on the basis of their
performance in the Common Admissions Test will be called
for a group discussion and personal interview. The group
discussion/personal interview will be held at Ahmedabad,
Bangalore, Kolkata and New Delhi. The final selection to
the programme would be based on the candidate's academic
achievements, work experience, performance in the
written test, group discussion and personal interview.
