Placement time is a big event at NMIMS. As a world class center of management learning & innovation, it aims high but it aims realistically too. With the number of courses made available to the students, supported by a rich faculty with a strong academic background as well as significant exposure to the industry, it is able to draw the attention of the industry to take a note of the finished products – its students.

Last year a record number of 133 students got placed on the very first day. 178 organisations from India & abroad made their selections in Finance, Marketing, IT, Operations, HR, Services & Consultancy.

This year an upbeat mood at NMIMS expects nothing less than the best. We have been ranked again among the top 10 Indian Business Schools (Outlook – 10 September 2001). We have been awarded ‘Best Management Institute Award – 2000’ by Bombay Management Association (BMA). We have also been conferred the highest quality rating for technical education.

Our students won the ‘All India Best Summer Project Contest 2001’ organised by Institute of Management Consultants of India (IMCI). They competed against their counterparts from premier institutes across the country.

The invigorating learning environment helps all of us at NMIMS to keep pace with ‘click second’ change in a globalising world. We are redifining ourselves by continuously upgrading our programmes supported by physical infrastrusture & continuous industry interface.

The present batch of 2002 is aware of the present economic environment & its challenges. They share your vision and concerns; but they are equally eager to add value to management perspectives.
